The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) serves as the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Systems Agency (CSA) for the DOJ, as well as other Federal and Tribal agencies and organizations. The DOJ CSA provides access to National Crime Information Systems through its Justice Criminal Information Services (JCIS), which supports interagency information sharing and safeguarding. Access to JCIS is for public agencies only; access for Tribal agencies and organizations is available through the DOJ Tribal Access Program.

HELP & SUPPORT

CAS, JABS, and JWIN users must email their Terminal Agency Coordinators (TAC) or Agency Help Desk for routine service issues, such as account creation, password resets, account unlocks, and account information updates. Please contact the DOJ Service Desk with the contact information below, for the contact information of your TAC or Agency Help Desk.

For FixNICS DRS service or access issues, please email the DOJ Service Desk at [email protected]

Tribal Agencies should contact the Tribal Access Program (TAP) at [email protected]. For routine technical support, such as the TAP kiosk workstation, please email the Help Desk at [email protected]. For urgent 24x7 help, please call 800-734-6241. The Idemia Help Desk will forward to the appropriate individual for resolution.

For all other issues, please contact the DOJ Service Desk. The DOJ CSA is excited to announce increased service availability through the DOJ Service Desk to improve responsiveness to customer needs and provide 24/7, in-person technical support to more quickly resolve or escalate service and technical support requests. Routine request will be handled by the DOJ CSA Staff Monday – Friday, 7 am – 7 pm. Routine service issues, such as account creation, password resets, account unlocks, and account information updates, received outside business hours will be addressed the next business day. Critical issues will be escalated and addressed accordingly.
